What do you enjoy most about your role at Eventus?

I am enjoying the learning process and developing a better understanding of the marketing world and all the variety that is involved in the role. Working alongside such a hardworking and encouraging team made me feel welcome from day 1 and I look forward to bringing fresh ideas to Eventus.

How do you switch off and unwind after work?

I always make sure I have my list of things to do the following day planned out before I finish for the day, so I’m not thinking about work all evening. When I work from home I love to have something that separates the work day from the night. Going for a walk or to the gym really helps me clear my head, and then cosying up with a good series before bed.

What do you like to do outside of work?

I love to stay active, mainly at the gym, or a nice, long walk with a stop for a hot chocolate along the way. At the weekend you can find me meeting with my friends for a drink, or at a Harry Styles concert.

Top tip that you would give to a professional who is looking for a new career opportunity?

Stay open-minded. Yes, you need to have your goals in mind when on the job hunt, but always be open to new opportunities – you never regret trying. But there’ll always be that ‘what if?’ if you don’t.

Use a recruiter who you can completely trust. They have the best intentions for your business and have the best understanding of your local area, they are there for a reason. So, use them!
